Hi,
I've used D2007 to create a small prototype to demonstrate the
direct usage of the MySQL server databases instead
of using the BDE.
Since I don't use BDE (AFAIK), would it be just
simply as copy the EXE file to the workstation?
I'm using the dBExpress set of database access
components (TSQLConnect) as well as the
Data access controls (TDBGRid). The only
database apps I've deployed all use BDE,
so I'm unsure as how to proceed with the
deployment. Do I also need to deploy
the dbexpress ini files? (I'm having
trouble in Delph 2009 with regards
to these files.)
Any hints appreciated.
